Pull Point: At the end of that Holy War.

Background Info:
History:
William Shakespeare, the Servant.
William Shakespeare, the Human

Personality:

Troll. Caster. Author. Speaks with Thou.

When speaking of Shakespeare, it's important to know that there are two of parts that make this man. Two sides of the same coin for the man whose words transcended history with beautiful pieces of art. To make it simpler, Shakespeare's sides are the ones that fall under the "Author" and "Human being" labels.

For his human side, Shakespeare shows himself as a gentleman that speaks politely to his audience. He's a narcissist that isn't ashamed to show some arrogance, and he is one who likes to act in his own way without having to listen to others. It was quite normal for him to simply disappear when he wanted to do something specific and cared little to do it in a way other than his.

He is a man that is aware of his talent and wants to share it with the world, often speaking the truth hidden in soft words for his entertaining. He also proves to be a bit of a manipulative person when he's around the influential people. As a matter of fact, there are seven years of his life that are in the shadows, and where no one knows what he was doing.

He is a person who devotes himself completely to his writings and masterpieces.

Shakespeare's feelings are beyond anything that can be described, but he prefers to play his role and not show them when it's not necessary. Instead, he chooses to transmit those feelings in his words, the ones that he takes great pride in. He sometimes can be a deceiver and will hide something in order to acquire a greater gain for him, but he would not betray his own self to archive something. It comes with being aware of all the magnificent things that he could create with his hands.

He's fond of tragedies, comedies, history, or anything that can help him to express himself in his art. As an actor, he often played minor roles to small audiences as if he were the protagonist, while his masterpieces were being played in the court; having a way to be many faces while still remaining the same person is something that he truly enjoyed.

The other side of the coin is when he separates himself from the world itself and starts looking at everything as if he were the "Author" and the world was his "Stage". Shakespeare distances himself and focuses in what it intrigues him, such as the protagonist. What motivates them, what brings them joy, he will lose himself in order to understand them from a psychological point of view.

Shakespeare enjoys understanding the protagonist and he often doesn't seem to be attracted to the shallow, secondary ones who don't bring anything special to the act. He often drops lines of his own works while comparing the lives of those people he finds interesting. As an Author, he respects many rules that he himself created to consider a writing as such. When he's inspired in this mood, he starts speaking with the Ancient English and the style he used to write, exchanging information as the Narrator and the Hero.

He enjoys going further where others haven't in terms of words. He likes to try new things to impress himself, such as when he mixes tragedy with comedy in a way that amazes others. As long as he likes it, he will share it with the audience to be rewarded with applause and gifts at the end of the performance. But, as an Author, he is prone to criticizing others as well and dislike any attempts of imitation that only mock him. Shakespeare's he wants to be admired, not mocked.

When he writes, he does it for himself and someone special. He might listen to others' opinions regarding his masterpieces, but any empty critique will not even reach him. He will answer sharply to those who deserve it because he likes being the victorious one at the end. Shakespeare likes to create worlds and characters, enjoying the feeling of being the one controlling their fates.

As a Servant, he's under the Caster class. He's one that prefers to avoid direct conflict and study his enemies before striking with a powerful blow in their minds. His priority is his safety and his Master's since he's not one that has any combat ability. Shakespeare prefers to analyze their enemy completely to gain a great reward at the end. Even though he has a Master to follow, he finds himself enjoying the new stage more than anything, often looking at his own Master as another piece of the stage that was given to him.

Game Specific:
Arcana: Moon
Justification:

"The Moon is associated with creativity, inspiration, dreams, madness, illusions, fear, fantasy, the subconscious and trickery. In tarot readings, it can also represent being attuned subconsciously to the world around, gaining the ability to sense things without being told about them or without anyone else knowing"

That describes Shakespeare's personality as a writer and as a player. As the first, he finds his words based on the inspiration and creativity that he possesses. To craft his illusions of dreams in our heads after reading his works, the secrets that he hid between those lines. As the second it represents a man who saw the world in a different way, from a different point of view where he doesn't need words or being told what to see: he created fantasies in the stage he controlled.

First Person Sample:

[ It took him some time to finally decide to use the device, but here he is, using the small text device for an important question that he must know soon. ]

If thou shalt choose a role
which wilt be the one that suits thou the most?

The stage placed shalt be thy life, oh Lord,
for thee I'll write only one fate,
and if thou shalt tell me, mine piece,
the curtain will raise for thee.

[ Priorities, Shakespeare has them. Besides, he first needed to know the actors of this new stage. ]

Third Person Sample:

To awaken in such a strange place, Shakespeare was a bit surprised. For a moment he found himself questioning the reason of being placed here, considering that there seemed to not be any Holy Grail War going at the moment.
Soon he noticed that he didn't possess any kind of Magic. It was a great loss, but he found it interesting after all.

Being alive once more, he wondered what kind of stage this world could provide him. How many tales he would find worthy of his words...? No one could doubt that Shakespeare was amused by this turn around events.

"The twists of fate, always so intriguing." He said out loud, as if there were someone that could listen to him. For him, there was always an audience watching one's life in the stage. "Will this be a tragedy? Or will this be a comedy? Ah, the rest is silence." He added, dropping one of his own quotes at the end of his questions.

Before he could continue expressing himself, William realized there was a certain company that was unwanted. A creature that was creating a possible death flag for that man. He remained silent, observing his enemy. He still didn't possess any kind of combat ability, but he did know how to avoid as many fights as possible.

"There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so. " He said as he started to walk to hide from that creature.

His time to step in the stage to perform his act was still far away after all.
